This exclusive lot comes from Killenso, one of the oldest coffee growing areas in the Guji region, considered the birthplace of coffee. The Guji region is located in the Oromia state of Southern Ethiopia; it stands out for its high altitude, rich volcanic soil, and a climate that has supported coffee cultivation for centuries.
Once considered a sub-region of Sidamo, Guji has recently become its own administrative zone, allowing its distinct terroir and farming traditions to be recognized and highlighted in their own right. Small-scale farmers in Killenso continue to cultivate coffee using methods passed down through generations, producing beans distinguished by their exceptional quality and clarity of flavor.
Each harvest reflects the character of this legendary land, offering a cup that carries the depth and heritage of one of the world's most mythical coffee origins.
