Frequently Asked Questions

All of our coffees are selected from among specialty coffees that score 80+ points on a 100-point scale. To achieve this level of quality, great care and attention to detail must be given to every step of the process, from the growth of the coffee bean to its brewing.

Coffee is grown in a very special part of the world, between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. All our coffees are Arabica and must be grown at high altitudes.

Currently, coffee is not grown in Turkey, with the exception of some experimental coffees cultivated in greenhouses. All coffee you purchase is imported from a coffee-growing country of origin.

Retail orders placed through our website are shipped out the next business day following the order being placed. Generally our coffee gets to most places in Turkey in 1-2 business days once it has been shipped.

Coffee does not like to be stored in a hot, humid, sunny, or foul-smelling environment. It stays fresh longest when stored in an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry, and odorless place.

With our roasting style, we aim to bring out the naturally occurring flavors in green coffee. Since the quality of the green coffee we use is quite high, you may notice pleasant fruit, floral, chocolate, caramel, and/or nutty aromas coming from your cup when you brew coffees roasted with this method. It would be a shame to suppress these beautiful flavors with dark, burnt, smoky notes through a dark roasting method.
